Founder
Hi, I am Davide, founder of DiscoverBridge.
I was born and raised in Asti, in the heart of Monferrato, where I have always felt at home among vineyard hills, villages and open countryside. I spent my summers with my grandparents, surrounded by nature and animals, and my weekends exploring the Alps or the Ligurian coast with my parents. This landscape shaped my idea of beauty, belonging and the simple pleasure of being outdoors.
I have always loved this corner of the world because so much is within easy reach. In around two hours by car or train, you can be by the sea—at the Cinque Terre, for example—or in the Alps beneath Mont Blanc. You can explore Lake Orta, Lake Como and the other great lakes, discover the Langhe, or reach international cities such as Milan and historic centres such as Turin. Few places offer such a rich variety of landscapes, cultures and experiences so close together.
From high school onwards, I began organising excursions and day trips for every group of people around me: from summer-camp friends to university classmates from all over the world, and later colleagues at Google and Bain & Company. Sharing these places became a natural way for me to connect with people and help them experience the region beyond the obvious.
Then I met my wife, whose family lives between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. Through them, I began exploring every corner of the Lake District, discovering its quieter roads, hidden viewpoints, family-run restaurants and the many details that make the area feel so personal.
I was also married here, on the shores of Lake Maggiore—the most beautiful day of my life.
My career later took me to live and work in the United States, China and the Middle East. Those experiences taught me how to listen closely, manage complexity and deliver with discipline. They also made me see home with new eyes.
I created DiscoverBridge to bring together the knowledge and relationships that come from belonging to a place and the professional care required to make a journey feel seamless. I want guests to discover not only where to go, but why a place is special, when to experience it and how to connect with it.

Our story starts from a simple feeling. Growing up in the Italian Northwest, we learned to see beauty as part of everyday life: landscapes, villages, food, craft, history, silence, and conversation. Today, seeing travelers arrive, discover this beauty and leave happier makes us want to contribute to that movement.
We exist to help people come to Italy and truly connect with it. We make travel safe, simple and enjoyable, so our guests can focus on the experience itself. We remove complexity, select trusted local partners, design meaningful itineraries and take care of the practical details that make a journey feel effortless.

DiscoverBridge works in partnership with Travel Experts – TE.IT S.r.l., an experienced travel company whose parent company BTS Travel Group is active in the travel sector since more than 25 years and has more than 50 employees, ready to address traveller's needs. The company provides trusted operational support and infrastructure where required. Travel Experts is affiliated with the Gattinoni Travel Network, is IATA-accredited and is a member of FTO – Federazione Turismo Organizzato.
This partnership allows us to combine local insight, personal care and meaningful travel design with the professional framework required to manage regulated travel activities. While DiscoverBridge focuses on proposing authentic, seamless and memorable experiences, Travel Experts supports booking, payments, insurance and other regulated and operational components—helping our guests travel with confidence, clarity and peace of mind.

FAQ
How much does DiscoverBridge cost?
The first step is completely free: you can book an introductory call or send us your travel brief so we can understand your preferences, priorities and travel goals.
If you decide to move forward, the personalised Travel Design service costs €79. This includes the preparation of a practical travel plan with recommended destinations, experiences, logistics and next steps.
Where additional coordination or booking support is required, DiscoverBridge charges €49 per hour. Hotels, flights, transfers, activities and other third-party services are charged separately at their actual cost.
What does a travel designer do?
A travel designer helps transform your ideas, preferences and constraints into a coherent and personalised journey.
DiscoverBridge can support you in defining the itinerary, selecting destinations and experiences, balancing travel time, coordinating the different elements of the trip and identifying suitable local partners.
The objective is not simply to provide a list of places to visit, but to design a journey that is realistic, enjoyable and aligned with your interests, pace, budget and expectations.
Why use DiscoverBridge when I can plan a trip online or with AI?
Online tools and AI can be valuable sources of inspiration. The challenge is understanding which ideas genuinely suit you, whether better alternatives exist, and how to turn them into a realistic, coherent journey.
DiscoverBridge brings experienced human judgement, first-hand local knowledge and on-the-ground coordination to the process. We help travellers discover remarkable places that remain largely untouched by mass tourism, as well as distinctive experiences shaped around their feelings, preferences and dreams.
AI-generated suggestions are starting points, not finished answers. We integrate, connect and refine the possibilities to create a travel plan that reflects your vision and practical needs, works in practice, is trustworthy and ready to book. If you wish, we can also support you through the booking process.
The €79 Travel Design service turns scattered possibilities into a personalised, usable travel plan—including two rounds of refinement—rather than another generic list that you still need to research and organise yourself.
Does DiscoverBridge make travel bookings?
Yes. DiscoverBridge can support clients from initial travel design through to full trip execution.
We develop the itinerary, recommend destinations and experiences, and coordinate the overall travel plan. When clients also require full travel-agency services—including bookings, payment handling, travel documentation and other regulated services—these are provided by our partner Travel Experts – TE.IT S.r.l.
This means clients can choose either travel-design support only or a complete service covering both planning and bookings. Before confirmation, we clearly explain which services are provided by DiscoverBridge, which are provided by Travel Experts, and which terms and conditions apply.
How does the initial consultation work?
The initial consultation is an introductory conversation designed to understand:

- preferred travel dates;
- interests and priorities;
- expected budget;
- desired pace and level of support;
- any practical requirements.
After the consultation, DiscoverBridge will confirm the recommended next steps and whether the paid Travel Design service is appropriate for the request.
The initial consultation does not create an obligation to purchase further services.
Can DiscoverBridge plan trips for groups?
Yes. DiscoverBridge designs travel experiences for different types of groups, including:

- professional and cultural associations;
- private groups;
- destination-wedding guests;
- incentive and educational groups.
Depending on the group’s needs, our support may include itinerary design, accommodation, transport, activities, company visits, local experiences, meals and on-the-ground coordination.
Clients can also access a complete travel-agency service, including bookings, payment processing and other operational travel services, provided by our partner Travel Experts – TE.IT S.r.l.
The scope and price depend on the group size, destination, objectives and complexity of the trip. Following an initial discussion, we prepare a tailored proposal covering the recommended services and next steps.
Which parts of Italy does DiscoverBridge cover?
DiscoverBridge focuses primarily on Northwestern Italy, with particular expertise in:
- Piemonte (incl. Torino, Alba, Langhe, Barolo, Monferrato, Lakes District, Stresa, Arona, Mount Rosa, etc.);
- Lombardia (incl. Milan, Lake Como, Bergamo, etc.);
- Liguria (incl. Cinque Terre, Portofino, Alassio, Porto Venere, Genova, Sanremo, etc.)
- Valle d’Aosta (incl. Courmayeur, Mount Blanc, Aosta, Cervinia, Mount Cervino, etc.).
We can also support travel planning in neighbouring Italian regions and selected areas of France and Switzerland, depending on the itinerary and the services required.
For broader trips across Italy, DiscoverBridge may coordinate with trusted local partners and professional travel networks where appropriate.
